Changes in the Workplace
Presentation
The axis brings together researchers in Labor Management, Labor Economics and Labor Sociology, in a multidisciplinary approach. Researchers focus on the nature of work transformations and their impacts, at macro (labor market and public policies), meso (work organization) and micro (subjective experience of work) levels. Three themes structure this axis: (1) trajectories and temporalities; (2) materiality; (3) organizational resilience.
Methodologically, the axis combines a dual expertise, mobilizing both quantitative and qualitative approaches (in particular, analysis of activity through in situ observation). Research is carried out in a wide range of sectors: industry (particularly nuclear), healthcare, services, culture and associations. We work on national and international research programs, and on behalf of companies under contract.
